Shrabani Basu Gives TED-Ed Lesson on Noor, “From Pacifist to Spy: WWII’s Surprising Secret Agent”

Shrabani Basu, the founder of the Noor Inayat Khan Memorial Trust and author of Spy Princess: The Life of Noor Inayat Khan, has recently delivered a Ted-Ed lesson on Noor’s wartime activities. With a simple animation depicting her actions as an SOE radio operator, as well as her capture, escape attempts, and execution. Designed for classroom use by educators, this digital short is intended to bring attention to the contributions and heroism of the Indian-origin British Sufi spy.
