Noor Featured in Al Jazeera Article Inspired by A Call to Spy

Reporter Usaid Siddiqui recently wrote an article on the life of Noor in Al Jazeera, in response to the theatrical release of A Call to Spy and growing recognition of her wartime heroics. The article weaves biographical details about her life together with statements from actress Radhika Apte (who portrays Noor in the film), Shrabani Basu, and Noor’s nephew Pir Zia Inayat Khan. It also attempts to frame her contribution within the wider context of Indian participation in the British war effort, which has “hardly been acknowledged.”
