Broadcast Premiere of 2021 Short Film, Liberté
Variety recently reported that Liberté, a 2021 short film directed by Christopher Hanvey, has been acquired by UK broadcaster Sky History. Liberté will be distributed by The History Channel across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
The gorgeously shot 17-minute UK film features British news anchor Sam Naz in her debut role as Noor as she is interrogated by Hitler’s intelligence chief, Hans Josef Kieffer (Oliver Boot). Sam Naz, the film’s writer, co-producer, and lead actress announced on Twitter that Liberté will be distributed by The History Channel across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa after its February 21 UK and Ireland broadcast premiere on Sky History.
